henchman (healer and protector) in Faction Preview Event
Okay, during the Faction Preview Event (FPE), I found healer henchman was a little slow on healing especially when resurrenting dead party in the group, my healer and protector stand next to dead party for like 10 second before casting rebirth or surrent skill.
Also the same old problem still occur during the FPE, when everyone is dead except one healer or protector henchman left and if my character and my other healer or protector is out of range from my character, the remaining healer or protector henchman only know how to running back and fourth from my character to other healer or protector henchman. It doesn't resurrent niether my character nor any other henchman in the party.
Is there no plan for improvement on this henchman in Factions or any future plan that these henchman will improve? Also it'll nice if I can have some basic command on henchman such as stay and follow.

Less and less players team up with others, because of many failed missions. There is always someone who doesn't want the bonus and deliberately spoils it, so the party has to move on.
Henchmen have to be improved, to maintain a stimulating gaming experience. In the middle of a fight, some monsters decide to attack me. I do a step to the left, one to the right, run in a smalle circle and before you know it all henchmen run around in panick. We need better or smarter hench!

Ah so it wasn't just me who noticed it.
Well, a lot of the FPE Quests, I finished quickly on my own with henchies than teaming up with real players.
That's been like going on since Tyrian days, it's far better to get henchies than go with real players.
It's sad, very sad.

Yeah, Doing quest/mission with henchman can be really pain. they don't know how to avoid meteor shower, fire storm, chaos storm, and other such effect around them unlike enemies just smart enough to run away from such effect in the area.
Also about the slow responding issue on healer and protector during FPE, let's hope they fix that problem before Factions release.

I noticed the healer henchmen in particular to be really bad. Not only were they slow at resing, they weren't able to keep up with healing either. I had both monks and quite frequently, my mes would drop dead because they weren't healing me at all. It's not like they were busy healing someone else because I just initiated the fight.

Well, the ritualist was quick enough on the rezz trigger. Too bad he liked to do it while standing in the middle of combat and low on health ... using Flesh of My Flesh! That usually ensured that he died immediately and whoever he rezzed went right back down with extra DP. Not to mention that he would happily use that 10% life-sac heal when he was at 15%.

Another problem I have experienced during FPE was having the assassin henchman in my group, it is so hard to pull aggro back where I avoid facing too many aggro at the same time. The assassin was the first one to rush in the aggro and he was slow to move back when I pull back with the rest of the henchman. For that reason, assassin usually be the first one to get kill in the party since it make thing harder to pull aggro, I think assassin henchman is more of a burden in the group rather than helpful.

I think they are great. Maybe you don't use henchies very much, but compared to Alesha these are Rank 13 Infuser Monks. Hex removal+ condition removal is great, too.
Then again, I only used the ones from Kurzicks, so I don't know what the Luxon healers are like.
I think alot of the complaints about the henchies might be comming from people who don't use them very often in Tyria. Maybe not, though.

The Factions Heal and Prot are so far below Alesia/Lina/Mhenlo, it's not even funny. Purge Signet?! They gave them Purge Signet! And the prot henchie uses Rebirth in the middle of battle! As if Purge Signet wasn't energy destroying enough!

The healing henchmen still have the same exact AI, so if someone dies and one starts to rez, they are actually both rezzing it, leaving a nice period of time when nobody is getting healed.

Well, I can't argue about the henchman from Kurzicks since I spent most of my time on the Luxon side, base on the henchman on Luxon they are slow on healing and resurrenting allies as it mention from the first thread.
About you said about not using henchman very often, well I used henchman all the time in Tyria for doing quest and exploration of the land. Base on that this henchman during FPE was way more worse than the one in Tyria. Also the surrent problem described from the first tread is unacceptable. This problem must be fix. It is horrible that this resurrent problem occured since the released of Guild Wars up to till today, it is still not fix.

I found that Alesia and Lina are better than the Canthians ones I don't why although I would like to see a few improvements on them as well.I don't think they will improve them that much as GW Faction as well as Prophecies is all about team work. That is why I don't use henchies in missions or the later high level ones.Don't get your hopes up and I really hate Assassins and Mob bosses.

You have to remain alive for longer than just a few seconds to incur extra dp. In fact I think I've lived for 30-45 seconds, died again, and my dp remain the same (and no it wasn't 60%).
As for Healer sucking, all I can say is: That it did, that it did. Heh I could go aggro a group, live for at least 30 seconds, and still no heals? Kinda ridiculous in my opinion. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd pray for Alesia to be available.

I must be the only person that thinks that the Kurzick healer (Danika) was fairly decent with the exception of Purge Signet. The hench already uses low-cost spells. If only the AI didn't spam it whenever a useless hex is thrown onto a party member...then everything would be perfect.
Redemptor Klaus (Protector, Kurzick) was useless. Where's the Aegis? Really. Rebirth during a fight? Seriously. Monking 101.

I'm starting to think you've never played PvP if you think the henchmen heal as well as an experienced infuser.
I play almost exclusively with henchmen. When I'm not playing with just henchmen, it's with only 1 other player and the rest of the group is henchmen. I did Riverside Province during beta back when it was f*ing hard as a lvl 15 mesmer and 4 lvl 15 henchmen (you know, before the necro/mes/protector hench were added). I go through Sorrow's Furnace regularly with just henchmen. I think I know how they work.
I used the henchmen for both factions. The healers all sucked. The mob groups with their *huge* roaming range didn't help, either.

I think the difference in healing you are seeing is that some of the mobs in the fpe now spike.

Numerous times I sat back and laughed as the henchies got confused with the concept of disease (had to use henchies as there were no players out far). It took them ages to get rid of it, and often only one hench would have it, and for some reason they run about and infect everyone AGAIN. Factions was the only time i'd ever seriosuly used henchies though, and I got pretty far in a short space of time...inspite of the shite healing.

I'm starting to think you've never heard of a comparison before. I wasn't saying that they are as good as the best infuser monk in the game, I was saying that they are 1000 times better than Alesha and Lina.
